Manchester Republican Club September Meeting Highlights New Board and School Candidates
Updated: Oct 1
MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Manchester Regular Republican Club held its September monthly meeting with a full agenda that included introductions from candidates running for the Manchester Township Board of Education, the swearing-in of new club board members, a review of club finances, and an open discussion among members.
The meeting also gave members the opportunity to gather at the club’s new location and continue building momentum for the months ahead.

Board of Education Candidates Share Their Vision for Manchester Schools
A key focus of the September meeting was the opportunity to meet and hear from candidates running for the Manchester Township Board of Education.
The candidates included PaulaAnn, Laura, and Gloria, who spoke with club members about their interest in serving the school community and their vision for Manchester schools. Their remarks centered on the importance of strong local schools, student success, and responsible leadership on the Board of Education.
Members had the chance to hear directly from the candidates and learn more about the priorities they would bring to the role if elected. The discussion gave attendees a clearer understanding of each candidate’s views and the issues that matter to families, students, taxpayers, and the broader Manchester community.
For the club, the candidate introductions were an important part of the September meeting. Education remains one of the most direct ways local government affects residents, and school board races often shape decisions close to home.
The meeting allowed members to stay informed and engaged as the election season continues.
Senator Carmen Amato Swears In New Club Board Members
The club also welcomed Senator Carmen Amato, who administered the oath of office to the newly installed Manchester Regular Republican Club board members.
The newly sworn-in board members are:
Kimberly Kavanagh 1st Vice President
PaulaAnn Fazio 2nd Vice President and Membership Secretary
Nina Charlton Recording Secretary
Roland Zeh Treasurer
The swearing-in marked an important moment for the club’s leadership team. Each officer will help guide club operations, support membership activity, assist with organization and recordkeeping, and help maintain the financial and administrative work needed to keep the club active.

Senator Amato’s participation added to the significance of the evening and recognized the role local clubs play in civic involvement. The installation of officers also gave members a clear look at the leadership team that will help coordinate club activity moving forward.
Members Review Club Finances and Organizational Business
The September meeting included a review of the club’s finances. Members discussed the club’s current financial position and the importance of maintaining clear records, steady oversight, and responsible planning.
Financial transparency is an important part of any member-based organization. The review gave club members a chance to understand how the club is managing its resources and preparing for upcoming activities.
Treasurer Roland Zeh, who was sworn in during the meeting, will play a central role in helping maintain accurate records and supporting future financial reporting.
Open Discussion Gives Members a Chance to Be Heard
The meeting also included an open discussion period. Members used the time to raise topics, share views, and take part in the club’s regular exchange of ideas.
Open discussion is a key part of the Manchester Regular Republican Club’s monthly meetings. It allows members to talk through local concerns, election issues, club planning, and community matters in a direct setting.
The September discussion reflected the club’s continued focus on participation and communication. Members were able to ask questions, offer feedback, and stay connected with the club’s direction.
The exchange also helped the club settle into its new meeting location. Members had the chance to get familiar with the space, learn the layout, and continue the club’s routine in a new setting.
Club Adjusts to Its New Meeting Location
The September meeting served as one of the club’s first opportunities to become accustomed to its new location. Members gathered, conducted regular business, and held discussion in the new space.
A change in location can take time for any organization, but the meeting helped establish a sense of continuity. The agenda moved forward, members participated, and the club continued its monthly schedule.
The new location will support future meetings and club activity as the organization continues its work in Manchester Township.
September Meeting Reflects Active Local Engagement
The Manchester Regular Republican Club’s September meeting brought together several important parts of local civic life.
Members heard from Board of Education candidates PaulaAnn, Laura, and Gloria. Senator Carmen Amato swore in new club officers. Members reviewed finances, held an open discussion, and became more familiar with the club’s new location.
Together, those agenda items reflected a meeting focused on leadership, local elections, and member involvement.
The club will continue to hold regular meetings and provide members with opportunities to stay informed, participate in discussion, and support local Republican efforts in Manchester Township.
The September meeting closed with a renewed focus on the work ahead and appreciation for the members, candidates, and leaders who took part in the evening.
