Manchester Regular Republican Club Hosts Successful 6th Annual May Fundraiser

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Regular Republican Club (MRRC) held its highly anticipated 6th Annual May Fundraiser, "Italian Dinner at the Irish Pub," on Tuesday, May 19th at Donovan's Bar & Grill in Manchester NJ. The high-energy event brought together local families, business leaders, and top-ranking officials to support the grassroots efforts of the Manchester GOP heading into the critical upcoming election cycle.

The evening featured a powerful lineup of distinguished attendees, including Mayor Joseph Hankins, Ocean County GOP Chairman George Gilmore and his wife, Joann Gilmore, and Ocean County Commissioner Rob Arace. Manchester Township local leadership was also well-represented by Councilwoman Sandy Drake and newly appointed Councilwoman Judith Noonan.

Celebrating Local Leadership and Milestone Appointments

A major highlight of the evening occurred during the business portion of the night, which kicked off at 6:47 PM, as attendees celebrated Judith Noonan’s recent appointment to fill the vacant Manchester Township Council seat.

Noonan, a veteran public servant who has been serving as the mayor's confidential aide, was recently approved by the Township Council to step into the open seat. While she will officially take her oath of office at the next regular Township Council meeting, the MRRC dinner provided an enthusiastic reception for her continued dedication to the Manchester community.

Looking Ahead: "The Right Choice for Manchester"

With the June 4th Primaries rapidly approaching, party leaders and guest speakers took to the podium to outline the strategic vision for the November municipal election under the unifying message, “The Right Choice for Manchester.”

The club enthusiastically rallied behind the municipal ticket, emphasizing full support for the upcoming campaigns of Hankins for Mayor and Drake for Council. Discussion topics focused heavily on maintaining fiscal responsibility, preserving community character, and ensuring strong, conservative leadership for Manchester Township.

Community Support and Sponsorship

The event’s success was propelled by a strong showing of community support and premium sponsorships. This year’s event sponsors included State Senator Carmen Amato, members of the Beachwood Borough Council, and Mark Kalusz of French & Parrello Associates. Attendees enjoyed an exceptional Italian buffet provided by the staff at Donovan's Bar & Grill.

All proceeds raised from the annual dinner will directly fund the Manchester GOP’s upcoming campaign initiatives, voter outreach, and community programs.
